Biography

Bridgette Remington was born and raised in Rutland, Vermont and graduated from the University of Vermont and Vermont Law School, cum laude. She also attended American University’s Washington Semester Program and interned for the U.S. Senate. Bridgette lived in California, Montana, Washington, and Washington, D.C., but always returned to Vermont.

Before pursuing a legal career, she was a Communications and IT Director with a background in in accounting, marketing, network administration, website and database programming, and project management and finance.

Legal Experience

During law school, she served as a judicial intern for Justice Brian L. Burgess of the Vermont Supreme Court and an Articles Editor for the school journal, as well as working for an investment management company assessing corporate policies and legal risks.

Prior to private practice, Attorney Remington served as a Hearing Officer for the Vermont Public Utility Commission. She has been in private practice since 2013, initially representing property developers in energy permitting and regulation and then representing individuals and businesses in defense of lawsuits in Vermont and New York.

Attorney Remington currently represents clients in general civil matters concerning real estate, estate planning, land use, utilities, tax, non-profits, corporations, and civil litigation.

Personal

Bridgette lives with her family and sweet rescue dog, Rudy. She spends most of her time with family and friends enjoying Vermont on a sports field, lake, river, or mountain.
